Lynn and I want to thank all of you for your prayers and financial support. As many of you know we are just about finished with our support raising. If you would like to add us to your Missions Support you may do so by simply downloading our Faith Promise form on the Information page of our site.

We will be updating our site frequently so be sure to come back often. We going to have many children's ministry resources available here on the site, as well as event schedules for you to see where we will be in your area.

Again, Thank you. We could not do this with out you!

I Believe in Jesus Christ

Treasures of the Heart

Read Luke 2:41–52

Have you ever been separated from your child at a zoo, fair, or amusement park? The potential for lost children in public places is very real. When the child is finally located under a picnic table or behind a tent, anxiety turns to relief. After the hugs are squeezed and the tears dried, the scolding begins.

Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you (Luke 2:48).

But, was the boy Jesus really lost? Jesus thought himself to be in the right place, where His Father expected Him to be. Nevertheless, He rejoined the family clan and returned with them to Nazareth and “was obedient to them.” After the turmoil settled down, Mary was calm enough to understand what Jesus meant and “treasured all these things in her heart” (Luke 2:51). Was she thinking back to the events of His birth?

“But Mary’s child was special,” you may be thinking. Your child is special too—called by God to follow Him. What is in your heart for your child? Have you released your child to God’s leadership to follow Him where He leads?

Prayer Suggestion: Lord, help me to trust You with my child(ren), knowing that Your plan is best.
